Kay McSpadden has been sharing her insights into teens and teaching since 1999, when she became a community columnist for the Charlotte Observer.  Normally such community columnists write for one year only. But the response to Kay’s first columns in 1999 was exceptional,  and she has been writing for the Observer ever since.
