I truly loved reading Kay McSpadden’s Notes from a Classroom. She is a special teacher who truly listens to her students, challenges them and makes them think.

She teaches in this wonderful, creative way for all of her adolescent students—from Advanced Placement to Special Ed and all of those in between.

Every beginning or practicing teacher or student thinking about teaching would benefit from this book. As I read it, I had the same feelings as Kay’s sixth grader who wrote on the poster in the classroom: “I love you, Teacher.”
